-come out of my shell more.. Granted since I was in High School I’m a Social Butterfly now but still in certain situations I am still fairly shy..

I have a small Eiffel Tower obsession.. Though I’m sure Paris has much more to offer I want to visit the Eiffel Tower and the Louve and be on my merry way..

Greece, preferably the Greek Isles.. It’s gorgeous!!!

Italy, Venice and Rome mostly there..

Toyko, or well Japan in general.. well for obvious reasons.. The food.. The cars.. The culture.. The History.. I would have to stay for at least a month to do everything hahaah!

Australia just because I couldn’t go exploring with going to the Outback.. And well our friend Leroy would KILL me if I didn’t visit.

I want to go on a cruise.. to somewhere.. not sure where.. but Caribbean would be nice Jamaica, puerto rico, cayman islands.. somewhere down in there would be good..

Then within the country.. Most of you will probably find it sad that I’ve never flown and the further west I’ve ever been is Memphis.. Furthest north I’ve been is Indiana/Ohio and I was so young I don’t even remember it.. Sad but true.. I have been to Florida once but didn’t get to go to the beach..

First I want to visit NYC and Chicago.. and compare their pizzas and visit other things too.. but mainly the pizza :D

California.. I want to go to Wine Country and down to SoCal.. Visit all the places you normally see on TV, the Walk of Fame.. Hollywood sign.. etc.. but then I want my SoCal friends to take me to the places that isn’t well known too

I want to go to Texas and have some Puffy Tacos.. and visit the infamous Mr. VooDoo having the tacos with him.. South Texas has tons of culture..

I want go to VEGAS!! that’s enough explanation!

The Keys or Hawaii, either one.. preferably the Keys..

and last but not least..

I want to attend a Pats game at Foxboro.. Go to an Indy Series, Formula 1, WRC, and X-Games event… Visit a few of the NASCAR tracks that I love, ‘Dega, Miami Homestead, Charlotte, Watkins Glen, Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, and Sonoma..

That’s it for my travels.. I’m sure there is many other places that I would love to go to but these are the top of my list. Many of these could be wrapped into a one trip. Say go to Sonoma to see a race and visit California or go to Japan and see an Formula 1/WRC/Indy Series race..

Anywhere I didn’t mention that is a must visit? Tell me I might have to add it to the list!

So here is it.. The ChipIn.. Donations accepted because we don’t have the money currently to make this happen.. The FRN 240sx’s purpose to to help girls who don’t have cars to participate in track days.. This coming weekend is “Drive Like a Woman” an all girl track day at Atlanta Motor Speedway. Where myself and Lieze Truter were to pilot the Corolla for the day in order for Lieze to have her first ’bout with a drift car.. Now with two broken cars we are placed in a hard spot. We have the pieces  just need to put them all together. Suspension for it is in KY and would just take some driving to go pick up and have installed (and pay for it).. I have a friend giving me some wheels that I would need to pick up that I would pass through while picking up said suspension.. and I have a diff that’s at Chad’s house in ATL just waiting to be installed..  So if you’d like to help two ladies out please feel free to donate in the chip in above.. or if you’d like to have your company name HUGE on the side of the car and you take care of it all we can arrange that… All money will be put towards the car and the trip down.. any help is hugely appreciated.. If you follow me on Twitter, (which you should if you aren’t go here) then you probably know of the crazy month that Chris and I have ahead of ourselves. We are busy until the very last weekend in this month.. Let me tell you why..

This weekend we are driving at Elite Summer Nationals in Spartanburg, SC.. This is a yearly event held by Elite that includes a huge Car Show (held inside!), Drift Event, Sound Comp.. Word on the street is there will be other goodies on the inside too (prizes!!!!).. You will need to come by to check everything out..

The next weekend we are heading down to Atlanta for “Drive Like a Woman” for me and Lieze to tear it up in the Corolla since my car isn’t near ready. Should be good times.. We come back on Monday for this and pick Allie up from her grandparents house for her to start school on that Tuesday.. She starts 1st Grade makes me feel beyond old!

Then the next weekend (Aug 18,19,20) is the weekend that NASCAR visits Bristol! We are heading up for the Truck and Nationwide races but so far not going to Sprint Cup.. Saaaaaaddddddd

So we are rather busy this month… Please send help! and lots of Red Bull..

we cleaned all the dust and stuff outta it and removed the sound deadening (forgive me for the cell phone pics we didn’t take any with a camera)..

We left the dry ice set for about 10-15 mins and hammered away.. besides taking out a lot of stress we also dented my floor quiet a bit oopss!

This weekend I started with the tar removal that was under the sound deadening.. I will make another post about all of that~!

Thanks to work I had to work until Thursday evening which put us leaving Friday for the big event.. Which really sucks since we usually leave Thursday as to not miss any of the practice or anything.. This year I would be helping out BFF Lieze with the MotorMavens booth that was in the pits. Thanks to traffic and not being used to coming into Road Atlanta via I75 it was going to be taking us a lot longer to get there than planned.. We got there at 7pm just in time to watch the Top 16 (I think) of the ProAm competition.. and hang around with the ATL crew.. We hit up Taco Mac at about 1am and then headed to Andy and Lieze‘s for the night with a few other peeps (the KeepDriftingFun guys, some of the MotorMavens crew, and tons of others)… We crashed at like 3am and was up at 9am to get everything going.. Here’s some pics of a great weekend with great friends.. After working all day my cousin and myself had to drive back up to Knoxville since I had to work Sunday morning.. and miss the following days Turner field event ..

Lieze and I sold a TON of shirts and stickers! We sold out of the orange Keep Drifting Fun ones we are wearing in the pics but like one or two of the larger sizes… It was crazy!

For the second year in a row Drift411 made the trek to Spartanburg, South Carolina to have this event along with the Elite Summer Nationals. If you aren’t familiar with the event it is more like a low scale Nopi event minus the bikini contest and the foam or whatever that stuff is. It consists of a car show that is inside and a sound competition outside along with a Dyno thrown in there somewhere. All the action of course is outside where we are with the Drift Action.

This years event I have to say was much much better than last years. Not only was the temperature lower which made it much more bearable but the skill of the drivers was up from last years event as well. The event went very smooth and almost painless at times. Thankfully we had more volunteers this year, I guess when you have people who actually want to help and do help it feels like that. We are so used to it being just Chris, Chad, and myself and having to do everything between the three of us that when we have help it’s like “OMG I need to do something!” LOL (Big thanks to Marty, Howard, Anthoy and Dan for helping us out it was such a tremendous help!) The event started at 10am have a short drivers meeting. The event started off with Practice runs until about 5:30pm when we started qualifing drivers for the competition. I have to say the judges had their hands full with this one. Due to time constraints (and the sun going down) we had to do a Top 8 instead of a usual Top 16. The judges had to tabulate scores for a while before coming up with the Final 8 (see pictures below). After that it was an awesome competition, fantastic driving by all the drivers really had the crowd into it. It was a great show we definitely need something to showcase the winning drivers better if we do this next year. It was dark and a little hard to see but it was something to be seen. I think someone called the Fire Department due to the amount of smoke!   It was a fantastic event check out the pictures below!

Well this past weekend we made yet another trip to Atlanta for the final of the Triple Threat events. It’s always fun to see the Atlanta Drift Peeps and enjoy some tire smoke. As some of you may or may not know I am not fond of our current drift car, I’m having a hard time sliding it. I’ve begged for another car and Chris persistently tells me no learn this one. So after Chris made me really upset at the event Tracy came down to help me out. Chris was just throwing me in the car and saying drive the course when that wasn’t what I needed to learn this car. Tracy and I went down to do some donuts, funny I know but it really did help me feel the car out alot more than just trying to drift the course. For anyone out there who either is new to drifting or is just trying to learn a new setup or a new platform all together. You are having trouble with it go back to the basics it will definitely help you understand the car better.

We only were able to do that for a little bit (maybe 20-30 minutes) before some very ominous clouds accompanied by some lightening were able to be seen on the horizon. Since I had tons of stuff sitting out up at our tent and was hoping Allie wasn’t freaking out on Chad’s girlfriend Kathy who was watching her while I drove a little bit. We decided to call it a day and for me to save my money for a 240. I really want to learn the Corolla since there’s not many girls who drive them and get good with it. It is going to take some time, lots of tires and a lot of patience which I tend to run short on a lot of the time. I was getting decent (for my first time driving it on a course) with my stock 240 in just a day so I assumed that the Corolla would be equally as easy. Boy was I wrong! There’s a lot of girls starting to get into drifting and it really sucks that I’ve been involved with it for so long and am still a cruddy driver. Things happen (like babies) and plans change I won’t go into details.

I hope to have the ProjectGirlDrifter(.net) site back up soon so those ladies that are trying to start driving can have a place to come to do find other girl drivers. I had big plans for PGD and those have all been put on the back burner too, I really need to put more effort into my sites this one included, there’s still greeking everywhere and empty ad space. Don’t fear though I plan to have all my sites, this one, ProjectGirlDrifter, and FemaleRacingNews all up and going very very soon. It’s a lot of work for me but it’s all worth it in the end.
